About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Special Education Teacher to provide individualized instruction and support to K-12 students with a range of disabilities. The ideal candidate will develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with general education staff, and create an inclusive, supportive learning environment that promotes student growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and deliver individualized instruction aligned with IEP goals
Adapt curriculum and assessments to meet diverse student needs
Monitor student progress and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with families, specialists, and school staff
Ensure compliance with IDEA and state special education regulations
Requirements
Valid state certification in Special Education
Experience working with students with mild to moderate disabilities
Strong communication and collaboration skills
